MILAN- DAY 2

MILAN DAY 2- SHOPPING

The first shopping day in Milan started in 10 Corso Como, a hyper cool store which contains designer clothes, music, art, photography etc. You can find very cool and fashionables cloths, bags, shoes, jewelry and much more from different designers at 10 Corso Como. I was not allowed to take any pics from the inside of the store but trust my words, the inside was very magical and now its sales time.  We also visited the outlet, which by the way is very easy to miss  because there are no signs. I have taken a pic from the outside of the outlet to show you how difficult it is to find the entrance. 10 Corso Como is a MUST if you are in Milan. And don’t miss 10 Corso Como´s restaurant that is very busy during summer nights.

After a being at 10 Corso Como outlet, we walked to China Town and had a quick bite to eat and headed to the shops. I was in trans when I entered the jewelry shops in China Town. Here you can find amazing and very cheap jewelries and accessorize. Karl and I went bananas and got 6 pair of sunglasses for only €10. I didn’t buy any jewelries but I´m definitely gonna do it before leaving Milan. And don’t miss the tasty and also cheap restaurants (a meal costs around €4) in China Town, but the staff can’t speak any english so it’s a little bit of gamble what food to order, we excitedly ordered a meal that we thought was chicken file, but it was chicken skin!!

After China town, we went to ilsalvagente, a two floor outlet and here you can find branded clothes, bags, shoes, belts etc at a very reasonable price. Now there is a sale so if you are in Milan, DONT MISS ILSALVAGENTE!

Have to rush now, new adventures are waiting for me!! See you!!

Market in Rome

Via Sannio Market

I´m a huge big fan of markets and there are lots of them in Rome. Usually the markets in Rome are open during sundays but Via Sannio Market is open weekdays 8-2 and Saturday 8-5.  Via Sannio Market, often called the American Market, is famous for its cheep vintage clothing, military surplus, leather jackets, fake handbags and accessorize.

During 70´s Via Sannio Market was the perfect place to find the latest trends but today the market has become more touristic. Here you can find some decent items at a very low price, saying that, don’t forget to bargain the price. I just bought a gorgeous vintage Wranger jeans jacket and I bargained € 5, from €25 to €20, and I think you can bargain even more if you are in the mood. It´s really important to don’t get scammed as different eager salesmen say different price for the same item.

Today we are leaving Rome for Pescara, a seaside resort just at opposite side of Rome. Its kind of sad leaving Rome, but at the same time a relief because the heat have been a pain in the —! Last night we were at Viale Trastevere and finally find what Rome and Italy is all about. Nice small streets, cozy restaurants and a great atmosphere. Have to rush to the train and will wright about it later tonight.

Clothing Swap

Swap and get a new closet

For some days ago, Lund´s Nation (a student union in Lund) organized clothing swapping and I had a lovely time, as the same time as I refilled my closet. Whats clothing swap? Well the idea with swap clothing is to exchange clothes you don’t longer use with other ppl in a swap meet. Clothing swaps is an environmentally friendly way to refill your closet and now I have some really cool clothes. And the best part is that I didn’t have to pay anything for it!

Looking around at the internet I  found some website where you can swap clothes http://www.clothingswap.com/  & http://www.clothingexchange.com.au/.

I will post my new clothes later on!
