I adore Christmas and basically everything that comes with it. And its kind of weird that I like Christmas and the Christmas sprite so much, especially when my family don´t celebrate it like Swedish ppl does.
Immigrating at a young age from another country, with a whole different culture and traditions, has it benefits. For instance, I celebrate two New Years (and Christmas), the Christian ones during winter and the Iranian one during the spring. This means that I get two presents and more celebrations to look forward too. Yeayy!! But the negative part of combining two cultures is that you don´t really celebrate hem properly and you don´t go “all in”. I am the only one in my family loving Christmas and wanting to celebrate it, but this doesn’t mean that we eat the traditional Swedish Christmas dinner. In some way (don´t ask me why), my Mom and I have created our own Christmas tradition, meaning that every Christmas Eve, we cook food from different parts of the world. This year we decided to go Mexican and made a Tacos similar dish and chocolate pudding for dessert. Delicious as hell!!!
I hope you all have had a wonderful day with your love ones. I have collected some pics that explains my love for Christmas. Hope you guys will like it!!
A Very full Tara.
I found this really funny app called Jul Foto (translate Christmas Pic) there you can add christmas stickers to pics. Amazing!! Here is some pics of my dad, mum and me.
On the first day of Copenhagen Fashion Week (8-12 aug), I meet two lovely danish blogger, Joanna and Cecilie. The first time I saw them was at NN 07 presentation and we ended up at the same show again, (YASAMIN ZAFAR / FRITURE fashion show) and eventually started to talk. Both of them have been blogging for a while now and I really dig their blog.
I had such a good time during Copenhagen Fashion Week and It feels really good to have blogger friends (basically none of my friends are blogging). Hopefully we will meet up again very soon! I´m glad Denmark is not far away from Lund. Don´t forget to check their blog!!
The Eyes Have It is the name of Joanna´s fashion blog. The Eyes Have It is based on Joanna´s passion, which is dancing, singing, DIY-projects and the latest fashion news.
Cecilie´s blog is called Flying Fashion Bird and the blog contains a mixture of the latest trends, Cecilie´s own stunning style and Raw Food.
Friday the 10th aug, I meet Laura, another danish fashion blogger. Laura was a sweetheart and help me when I had trouble with my camera!! Unfortunately, we didn´t have the time to hang out (like I did with Joanna and Cecilie) but I will definitely contact her when I´m in Copenhagen. Laura runs a successful blog called Cotoure Kulten, and at her blog, you can find beautiful pictures of Laura (and her outstanding taste of style) and the latest trends.

Today I have had a really relaxing day!! I slept in this morning and woke up at 11 (??), followed my sister Saba to view a flat in the central of Lund. Afterwards she did my hair (love it) and took some amazing pics of me. Result: a new header, do you guys like it?
The plans for tonight is dinner at my friend Matilda and then maybe take the train to Malmö. Yesterday Malmö festivalen, a week long festival started in Malmö and tonight the swedish dj duo- Rebecca and Fiona is playing. I hope you guys have had an amazing weekend!!
Designers Remix was established by Charlotte Eskildsen and her partner and Managing Director, Niels Eskildsen during 2002 in Copenhagen. The brand became quickly successful and now is available in over 600 stores all across the world. Designer´s Remix is creating feminine cloths for the everyday life. The goal is to design cloths to sophisticated women with poise and power and make them feel beautiful.
For SS 2013 Charlotte Eskildsen design what she does best: feminine and minimalistic items for the modern women. This collection is very wearable and you can wear it all day long. Amazing!
One show I missed during Copenhagen Fashion Week was Stine Goya and I regret is so much!! The ex- model Stine Goya graduated from Central St Martins in 2005 with a degree in fashion and print. In 2006 Goya established a brand under her own name in Copenhagen and introduced her first collection the following year. Goya´s creations are a mixture of own designed bohemian prints and minimalistic features.
Stine Goya has won numerous awards like DANSK Fashion Award for Designer of the Year 2011, DANSK Fashion Award for Best Upcoming Designer 2009, IN’s award “Ginen” for best Danish Design Talent 2009 and many more. Goya has also been published in magazined, for example Vogue, ELLE, style.com, Dazed, Interview, Nylon, WAD, Wallpaper Quest, Bon jolie runway, Style, Sleek, Jalouse, VS., DANSK and many more.
For SS 2013 Stine Goya´s collection was dominated by the color gold. The hair, make up and the whole collection was breathtaking. Don´t you agree?
