Lately, the street style during Mercedes- Benz  Fashion Week in Australia have got a lot of attention. The reason is totally understandable. Absolutely  wonderful.
¬†I really like this hip hop inspired look and I¬īm that kind of girl that dress dependent on which kind of music I listen to. For the moment I¬īm in a hip hop phase and try to discover new artist. The top I¬īm wearing on the pics is bought on a second hand shop when I was in Milan last spring. I haven¬īt had the opportunity to wear it that often and decided on wearing it for todays outfit.
Furthermore I¬īm a big fan of these pics, especially because they are taken by a dear friend of mine. She don¬īt have so much experiences in photographing but I think she did a great job :)
Hope you all are having a great weekend!!
The first day of Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm started with a fab fashion show from Whyred. Before the show, I went backstage and took some pictures and already I was very fond of the collection.
After a few hours, it was time for Back fashion show and the best way to describe this collection is ‚ÄĚpunk- chic‚ÄĚ. The collection is not my cup of tea but still very creative. The third show for the day was Hunkydory¬†and the collection was very girly and glamours, which I like. The inspiration for this collection is from 70¬īs and 80¬īs music industry but with a glint of romance. ¬†The last show for the day was Army of me, a brand for men who wishes to be different and stand out from the crowed, and trust me, with a garment of Army of me, they are succeeding.
Overall I had a great first day!

This year I have had such a hard time to get into the New Years mood and I really don¬īt understand why. Perhaps its because I ¬†haven¬īt actually had a Christmas break! My dear teachers had this brilliant idea to give us lots of homework and papers to hand in after the break (and yes I¬īm bitter). Anyways, I felt like I had to look at some New Years pictures, party dresses, shoes and listen to some party music to at least try to get into the mood.¬†I hope u all don¬īt fell the same way and having amazing plans during the New Years Eve!
So my time in Colombia has come to an end and tomorrow we leave for Sweden.
The last few weeks in Colombia, I have been at the country side, near the town Garzon and I compare my time in Garzon as a rehab. Why you may think and the reasons is me being far away from the civilisation, Internet and people that can speak English. But I must say that the countryside (or as I called it, the jungle, it was actually only 5km from the nearest town) and the house I lived in was truly magical and relaxing. The villa had a huge garden with beautiful exotic flowers in all different colours, shape and trees with fruits ready to be picked! From the beginning it felt really good to be near the nature (which I’m not used) and when I wasn’t working, I was hanging by the pool sunbathing, reading novels or walking in the small river just by the villa.
But even the paradise feels ordinary after some time and I must admit, after about a week, I was seriously start to freak out. The city girl inside me couldn’t enjoy the magical nature anymore and all I could think about was to be in the city. The jungle felt like a prison and the key to my freedom was to be charming and sweet talk to someone at the villa so they could drive me to Garzon. Anyways It felt amazing after being trapped in a 10 hours bumpy ride ( I honestly nearly fell off my chair a few times) to Bogota, Colombia’s capital city. Today me and Caroline (my co-worker) hired a taximan who drove us around Bogota and finally we were able to ” Do Bogota”. We visited some historical places like Candelaria. We also enjoyed strolling around at Fernando Botero museum (I think that was the name of the museum) and afterwards, we went shopping! Here is some pics of today activities. Bye for now ;)
