STOCKHOLM FASHION WEEK 27TH-29TH AUG 2012
WEDNESDAY 29TH AUG
Sadly, yesterday was the last day of Stockholm Fashion Week! On the schedule was a mixture of different swedish brands, both international and non international. Some of the collections were really impressing and some of them less. One of the most creative and more fun was the collection from the brand called Lagom ( means just enough). I was really amused of braids on every model, and the clothes was very clean and stylish! I also loved Norrback´s styling and specially the shoes.
All and all I wish that Scandinavian style would design more daring creations. Ass you guys know, the Scandinavian style is very clean and minimalistic and I would love so see more unique and “think outside the box” creations. But judging from this Fashion Week, I have notice that some of the designers, like Hernández Cornet, Busnel, Maria Nordström, Fadi el Khoury and ALTEWAI SAOME are going to the right direction.

DANISH BLOGGER- COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK
On the first day of Copenhagen Fashion Week (8-12 aug), I meet two lovely danish blogger, Joanna and Cecilie. The first time I saw them was at NN 07 presentation and we ended up at the same show again, (YASAMIN ZAFAR / FRITURE fashion show) and eventually started to talk. Both of them have been blogging for a while now and I really dig their blog.
I had such a good time during Copenhagen Fashion Week and It feels really good to have blogger friends (basically none of my friends are blogging). Hopefully we will meet up again very soon! I´m glad Denmark is not far away from Lund. Don´t forget to check their blog!!
MEET THE BLOGGERS
The Eyes Have It is the name of Joanna´s fashion blog. The Eyes Have It is based on Joanna´s passion, which is dancing, singing, DIY-projects and the latest fashion news.
Cecilie´s blog is called Flying Fashion Bird and the blog contains a mixture of the latest trends, Cecilie´s own stunning style and Raw Food.
Friday the 10th aug, I meet Laura, another danish fashion blogger. Laura was a sweetheart and help me when I had trouble with my camera!! Unfortunately, we didn´t have the time to hang out (like I did with Joanna and Cecilie) but I will definitely contact her when I´m in Copenhagen. Laura runs a successful blog called Cotoure Kulten, and at her blog, you can find beautiful pictures of Laura (and her outstanding taste of style) and the latest trends.

KATE MOSS FOR RAG & BONE
Supermodel Kate Moss is the face for Rag & Bone! The collaboration is for Rag & Bone´s autumn campaign 2012 and was photographed by Craig McDean in Kentish Town, London. The atmosphere of this campaign was to capture Kate Moss is her very real moment. But why was the campaign photographed in London? “Rag & Bone is essentially a New York brand but our collections have always been influenced by our British roots, so it made total sense for us to open our first European flagship store in our hometown,” explained co-partner David Neville. “We worked with two industry icons; Kate and Craig and asked them to shoot outside of their usual working environments to create these almost raw, unique images,” said Marcus Wainwright, in a press release. “It wasn’t in a studio; it was just them on a derelict London street—Kate with minimal make-up and Craig with a hand-held camera and natural light.”
David Neville and Marcus Wainwright is the heads behind Rag & Bone and the brand was established during 2002 in New York. The duo has british heritage which permeated the entire brand. Rag & Bone has become famous for it´s wearable women’s and mens clothing and has a mixture of classic tailoring with an edgy look. Rag & Bone has won several prizes, Swarovski Award for emerging talent in Menswear in 2007 and Menswear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in 2010.
The brand is continuously expanding and are planing to open their first store at Sloan Square during London fashion Week this coming September.

STINE GOYA SS 2013
One show I missed during Copenhagen Fashion Week was Stine Goya and I regret is so much!! The ex- model Stine Goya graduated from Central St Martins in 2005 with a degree in fashion and print. In 2006 Goya established a brand under her own name in Copenhagen and introduced her first collection the following year. Goya´s creations are a mixture of own designed bohemian prints and minimalistic features.
Stine Goya has won numerous awards like DANSK Fashion Award for Designer of the Year 2011, DANSK Fashion Award for Best Upcoming Designer 2009, IN’s award “Ginen” for best Danish Design Talent 2009 and many more. Goya has also been published in magazined, for example Vogue, ELLE, style.com, Dazed, Interview, Nylon, WAD, Wallpaper Quest, Bon jolie runway, Style, Sleek, Jalouse, VS., DANSK and many more.
For SS 2013 Stine Goya´s collection was dominated by the color gold. The hair, make up and the whole collection was breathtaking. Don´t you agree?

When I lived in London about 4 years ago, I worked a few months as a sales assistant at Harrods for All Saints. I loved working there, I had a great boss and lovely colleges, but from time to time, the job was really demanding. Wearing high heels at work all day kills your feet and may provide bad attitude!! Anyway, I loved All Saints cloths, they are a mixture of edgy rock chic and an elegance. What do you think?
