SOMETHING SPARKLING

Really like this outfit where I mixture different brands with old to new wardrobe essentials. The Bell Sleeves is such a huge trend right now, loved by bloggers and fashion editors around the world. The 70’s bohemian inspired Bell sleeves are so much fun and easy to match, either with a cute skirt or a simple pair of  jeans. In this the outfit, I have matched it with my golden trousers that are a few years old and is from H&M´s Trend collection. For some strange reason, I aways take these trousers with me whichever country I move to.  The crème de La crème of this outfit is the navy sparkling Louisa Blue Pumps from House of Spring, a London-based brand with a Parisian inspiration – designed in their London headquarters office and handcrafted in Portugal, The House of Spring shoes are perfect for your New Year´s Eve outfit where you can comfortably dance all night long.

WHITE AND BLUE

I love strolling around my old neighborhood in Shoreditch, East part of central London. It´s full of street art and cozy coffee shops, such as FIKA which is a Swedish phrase and means “”to have coffee”,  and is often accompanied by Swedish pastries or sandwiches. East London is also full of independent fashion brands, second shops, restaurants, and pubs! Shoreditch is highly recommended if you are traveling to London.

NORWAYY

I just had to do a spontaneous photo shot when visiting The Norwegian Opera House in Oslo last week. I was amazed by the beauty of this building so if you are planning to travel to Oslo, The Norwegian Opera House is a Must see. It´s a breathtaking experience just walking around the building, especially as you can easily walk to the roof overseeing the city.

THINGS THAT CAN BE FOUND ON SECOND-ON-SHOPS

One of my biggest hobbies is to go around and find different second-hand stores, vintage boutiques or even better, charity shops every time I travel to a place. The top and skirt I´m wearing is from Eriks Hjälp, a charity shop in Malmö and was bought the last time I was back home in Sweden. The bag is from Zara and the shoes is also from Zara but was bought at the charity shop Barnardos in Brixton.  The reason why I so fond of second hand items is that I always find unique and special things, from clothes, furniture to accessories, also its environmental friendly and sustainable to purchase (or reuse) perfectly fine items others no longer need. 90% of clothing that is thrown away is before the end of its life circle, this means that clothes have much longer life cycle and can be worn longer period of time before it actually is unwearable. So if you area bit sceptical to second-hand clothes, try to organise a clothes swapping day with your friends and get a totally new wardrobe and the best thing is that its for free!!

AFTERNOON IN ENGLISH FOREST

Since I moved to London, I have started to feel a strong longing for being in the nature. Having some time off from work, my friend Alex and I took a road trip outside London to a place called Oxted. The plan was to have a long and relaxing walk in the forest and as soon as we step into the forest, we where surrounded by a sea of bluebells. It was a magic view! Shortly after the picture above was taken, it started to rain so it turned out to be a short visit. However it felt amazing to leave the big city life behind for a short while and reconnect with mother earth.
